I had Jay, he’s is an artist. He is capable of replicating a past haircut pretty close to 1 to1 on his first try, I’ve been back and received consistently good and complicated cuts. He also accepted criticism from the first visit and promptly improved it. First time it was really busy in there and the bedside manner reflected it, however I’ve been there during slower times and received above and beyond treatment. I bought their facial mask product to go and he even showed me how to apply it right then and there without charge. He does a killer fade, and even minimized the lumps and bumps with his skill. If you want a good haircut you are pretty much guaranteed. Make sure to tip your barber well, especially if you have a complicated hairstyle!

Needed a fade for the weekend. Always walked by this barber shop on the way home and decided to book an appt online for a cut yesterday and did not regret it. These guys are legit. Been coming here for about one year now and never have I had a bad experience. Mustafa and all the other barbers in the shop give high class haircuts. The haircut was great but at least one barber steals money. I was told the haircut was $30-something, maybe $35? But when I walked out, I paid a total of $58 after tipping 10%. Meaning, they added at least $10 for no reason. I don't like to put ppl on the spot so I didn't say anything - it's only $10 but did notice the theft. This was not an accident because the barber was very friendly the whole time but became super nervous and fidgety when handing over the terminal. Not coming back. Simple men's haircut not worth $58 for me.

Barbers there are nice. They might as well be cheaper than the average. But they're all inexperienced at best. I tried them twice and both times, they spent an hour adjusting fade (which isn't perfect at all) then ruined the top within 3 minutes!

I’ve been coming to this barbershop every couple weeks for the past 2-3 months. It always takes awhile to get adjusted to a new place, but since the first visit I felt right at home. Kevin is my main stylist and he absolutely kills it every time. Extreme dedication to his craft, a patient approach with a real eye for perfection. With the flexibility to produce many different styles (I’ve had at least 3 done there) this spot is definitely a hidden gem. All the guys there are friendly, showcase good sports on the tv and are never short of conversation, highly reccomend to anyone who’s looking for their new favourite spot

If there was an option for 6 stars I would have chosen that! Erick was an outstanding barber and knew exactly what I wanted without much explanation. I often worry about trying new barbershops because they often only know how to use the machine and do short styles but I was mistaken. I have a longer more professional looking hair style and Erick was excellent with the scissor work and did a nice skin taper around the edges to give that clean look. It often takes me a few times before barbers master my hairstyle but he did it on the first try. Would highly recommend this place and especially Erick if you have a longer hair style. Keep up the great work :)

I stumbled across this barber shop on my lunch break accidentally. Through the window I saw some of the freshest fades and knew I had to try them out. This was 4 years ago and every time I go there I always walk out feeling amazing! The barbers here love their craft and give each customer and personalized experience. Overall outcome is not bad, but the experience lacks communication. The barber starts before I know that he understands my needs and he tries to cut as fast as possible, which is understandable due to limited time. The issue is partly my responsibility since I seldom go to barbers and don't quite know how to describe what I want. Luckily the outcome is acceptable but I will try to find a service that provides more time for a haircut next time.

Saif shows this mastery with my hair I have not seen elsewhere. Easy to book and to pay, punctual, accommodating of short-notice changes, extremely friendly AND reasonably-priced. Went to these gentlemen as a last-minute haircut before a holiday party. Unfortunately, I was down with the flu a week prior, so I had to cancel with my standard barber. No complaints with the cut itself, but the 3* comes from the lack of straight-razor shave on the back of the neck, and I was not even offered product for the hair/ for them to style it. I expected more for a $50+ haircut, at least the aforementioned.

They do decent cut but you will get the cold shoulder if you're not middle eastern. The last straw for me was after booking my third appointment online (barber named Sam S). It wasn't busy but I waited for 20 minutes after arriving there. I just bolted out since as I had some place to go. Find another place if you're looking for decent service.

Awesome barbers, they follow what the clients want but also can give feedback. They can be busy on the weekends so it’s best to get an appointment. However, sometimes the service is not on par. You get shuffled around if you’re not middle eastern or if you are a part of the LGBT community and hoping someone is willing to take you.

I went to the Rendezvous with my son and was given an appointment for 3 hours later which I do understand because we didn’t have appointment. Went there on time. But they took one of us and I had to wait for my son to be done to get my haircut. When I was booking I told the younger barber that I would like fading style and he said they do it. Since before I read the reviews and realized it might be language barrier, I showed the barber a photo how I wanted my cut. He looked at it and said ok and did completely different thing. No fading at all. He is a good barber but has does his own thing. I was disappointed that I didn’t get what I wanted but overall haircut was ok. The young guy was doing fading haircut and since I told him I wanted that style he should have done mine. Also they should be more welcoming. Smile a bit ... I will go there again and give them another chance. Hopefully they will improve their social skills. I liked the ambiance and the vibe.

I went for a haircut here today, I've been here twice before. In addition to a pleasant experience, this place was totally Covid-19 ready. My appointment was made online, and it was on time. Upon arrival, my body temperature was taken, and I was asked standard Covid related questions. Everyone was wearing face masks and shields. The haircutting tools were sanitized in front of me. The place was neat and clean. Ammar gave a me a clean cut, exactly what I asked for. I felt satisfied and safe. A great experience.

Ibrahim has been cutting my hair for just over the past year and a half and has never given me a bad cut. In fact, it only gets better after every visit. Post quarantine haircut was amazing, went in with a monster and came out looking fresh. All the safety precautions were perfectly followed from masks and face shields to temperature checks. I am pleased that I can say I have no regrets paying RendezVous Barbers a visit. My first time here. I walked in, apparently didn't need a reservation. I was pleasantly greeted and asked to take a seat while I wait. I didn't wait long, maybe 10/15 minutes. Very reasonable. The gentleman with the really long beard cut my hair, trimmed my new beard, and even waxed my ears (lol). My very first time for that. Definitely recommend this place. The guys here can definitely do beards here, because two of them, one of which was my barber have very nice beards, very well kempt. Very glad I came to RendeVous Barbers!

Second time I came here to get my hair cut, and am very happy once again. The atmosphere of the place is very nice—air-conditioning, good smell, and has a welcoming feeling. I got my hair cut from the man at the left-most side of the store on both occasions. He's soft spoken, friendly, and will ask questions on what you want every now and then to make sure you get exactly what you want, which is something I can appreciate because too often have my barbers just gone off to do their own thing without my input. Didn't catch his name, unfortunately, but I recommend him. It is a bit pricey—$25 for a cut and $20 for children (I believe), but it's worth it if you can afford it.

His scissor work is very good. I am very particular with how my hair shape is and he did an amazing job! I also got a low skin fade as well and it looks very clean. I moved into this neighborhood about a year ago and barbers around here had been hit or miss. That said, I have been coming here for my last 3 hair cuts because I am very pleased with the quality and the attention to detail the barbers put into the cut at Rendezvous. Price is a bit higher than average for this neighborhood, but it's definitely worth the money. Today, I had an excellent start to my day-off with a nice shot of espresso (and dark chocolate) + fresh hair cut from Ammar. Before Rendezvous, it took me several months to find the perfect barber shop. I tried many and only left feeling unsatisfied with most of the haircuts I got. When I found out about Rendezvous, I was just a walk-in customer. I was asked if I booked an appointment for a cut, and I said no. They still welcomed me and told me to wait for the next available barber, and I found myself ending up with Ammar. I can't express how impressed I was after my first haircut. I only showed him a picture, and he started doing his magic! His skill and attention to detail is something that I have been looking for in a barber. For 6 months, I've been consistently going to Rendezvous, and Ammar fully understands my hair and the style I want. I actually just got home from a haircut, and I can't help but to write a review for him because he truly deserves it! All of the other barbers are nice and very skillful as well! I had visited this salon yesterday and I should say this is by far the best salon I’ve gone to in Scarborough area. After moving to Canada from the Middle East, it was hard to find a stylist to work on my hair and beard they way I wanted it to be. Issa from rendezvous was able to do my hair and beard exactly the way I explained especially by not just using clippers but also blending the fade well with scissors. The Salon is clean and well maintained, the hospitality was good. Definitely recommending this place! Shukran Rendezvous.

Rendezvous is the best place for Men’s Grooming hair Styles, Buzz cut, Beard maintenance and all and all. All their Barbers are really professional and talented ( friendly). They all got very good skills with scissors blades. They could give a new look to your face, once you go there. My personal barber is Johnny. He has never disappointed me with my hair cuts and beard maintenance. He always look after me so well. As well as rest of the Barbers too. Ammer, Sab, the whole crew does phenomenal job. This place had nerve to charge 45 for a skin fade and nothing was faded correctly or blended properly he used extra water and gel to hide imperfections and his scissors were cheap quality and dull and could feel it with every snip. Absolutely not at all worth the service. Didnt even ask me how i wanted it or even consulted just looked at photo for 2 secs and then got frustrated when realize my hair was a challenge and started acting unprofessional and irritated.

I went there for a beard for the first time and the place was pretty awsome. I tipped well too. At the end I spent $60 on toppik products too. I was planning on only going there, but now I can't anymore. The barber called me today and said he made a mistake on the price of the product and that he charged me 10$ less. I told him that on Amazon I buy this product for the same price as I bought it yesterday . He told me they don't go by Amazon prices which is fine but I wouldn't of bought the product if I knew it was $40. Anyway, the shop lost a life time costumer which is unfortunate because they were very good and it's really close to my house but it's going to be too awkward and over 10$ 🤣

Absolutely my new "go to" for getting my hair cut! I have tried so many times to find a place that provided the experience I had today at RendezVous, but none delivered across the board. I used Google Reservation to book a 10:45am with Johny. It was easy and effective as Johny was just wrapping up with another client as I arrived. I told him I didn't want a lot taken off, just to clean up the edges and shorten it a bit and he did exactly that. I've never seen techniques and focus in a barber like I saw with him, although I did notice the other barbers were delivering the same service and quality cut as I was getting. Every dude that walked out of RendezVous looked sharp AF. The confidence in their abilities and the care they show for clients was a winning combination for sure. The vibe was very chill and the front of house was lovely and efficient.

My boyfriend went in for a haircut after having grown out his hair for three years. We called ahead and were told to just walk in. We waited only a few minutes before someone could see him. My boyfriend showed the barber (Dan) a reference photo and he did an amazing job! The environment is very welcoming and laid back, nice decor and lots of seating. One of the staff asked if I wanted a coffee or something to drink as well. Everyone is very friendly and my boyfriend says he'll definitely be back next time he needs a haircut. Hopefully it won't be another three years though lol

Don't book Ammar. I've gotten a cut from him 4/5 times and he was 5-10 minutes late for it each time, I really never cared I'm a patient guy. However the one time I was barely 5 minutes late he gave me slack for it. We argued and although the man can cut hair he has no sense of a hair stylist. I give them my card with my logo on it and say "i need to look like this". turns out excellent. reasonable prices too for the service you get, very good haircut and good service. i don't like to chit chat when i'm sitting in the chair and they respect that and treat you like a human. i thoroughly enjoy getting my hair cut here and i would 100% recommend this place! I walked in 5 minutes before my appointment, was immediately seated, and was given a fantastic haircut. Johny was excellent, and spent the time to really help shape my hair in a way my previous barber neglected to. It felt like a really detailed and we'll done haircut. On top of that, I was in and out of the chair in about 20 minutes. Despite not talking much, I still felt comfortable and was very happy with the result.

Had a good haircut here once . Booked an appt after 2 months of fasting and not being able to get a cut. Arrived at the shop and the guys I booked with reverted me to someone else cause they were busy (why even make an appt then) and I got what I think was a new guy. This was the most cringe-worthy haircut I got in my life. This guy used the machine to start the fade and then was trying to fade my hair with just scissors! He was going at one side of my head for 20 minutes and grabbing Bunches of my hair and just going off with scissors till I had to stop him and ask what he was doing?! Such an awkward moment. He worked on my head for over 30 minutes before I had to look at the other barbers and say bro this guy needs help. Bottom line I never write bad reviews but this was a horrible experience. Went to another top rated barbershop in the area,the very next day! You know you got a bad cut when you go to two places in two days. Luckily the second place fixed it up mint! I don't meant to sabotage these guys in anyway but if you're running a business do it properly, from top to bottom. Train every guy before they start cutting. I never had to switch barbers mid haircut before till here.

My barber was very unprofessional, talking with other barbers and even stopping for 5 minutes to talk to them multiple times mid cut. Also they are scammers, rang me up for skin fade (which costs more) when I didn't ask for a skin fade nor did even I get a skin fade LOL. Wasted my time, and money for a mediocre cut. Don't waste your time here. Also there is a language barrier and it is hard to communicate with the barbers. If you value your time and money GO ELSEWHERE!

I came here every four or five weeks for almost two years. I went to five different barbers and their haircuts were all awesome! The main downside for me was that it never felt very personal. I came here over a dozen times and every time I was asked if it was my first time. I don't know why, on the side they cut into my natural hairline with a razor (about 1cm the whole way). Its not gonna look good as it grows back. Rest was decent, but this makes it unacceptable. I only noticed when I got home since I need glasses and during the cut I have them off
